Complaining Witness v. My Client
PPO Dissolved
This was a Personal Protection Order (PPO) placed against my client by
a girlfriend who was trying to cover her tracks. The PPO hearing was so
entertaining that court staff still mention it to me - the transcript
is worth ordering. Most importantly, the PPO was dissolved by the court
and my client's liberties were restored.

People v. Accused Client
Not Guilty
My client was accused of assault and battery by a neighbor lady who was
a nightmare. At trial I successfully impeached that complaining witness,
and my client was able to tell his side of what really happened to the
jury. It took the jury all of 12 minutes to vote Not Guilty and acquit
my client.

Hughes v. Dunn
Verdict for client
I represented a homeowner who was sued by a builder for unpaid bills. The
house was improperly built and detailed examination revealed significant
construction defects. I filed a counter-claim on behalf of my client against
the builder. My client won the maximum amount of damages allowed for a
case of this type in Michigan. The builders case against my client was
'no caused', meaning he lost.

Shea Homes/Palmyra v. Masonry Co.
Verdict for client
I represented Shea home in a suit against a subcontractor that had built
defective walls in a huge (500+ homes) development. Because of my contracting
expertise I was able to diagnose the problem with these defective walls,
and our experts confirmed the same. A month-long jury trial resulted in
a verdict for literally every penny that I asked them to award.
